About Me

Hello! My name is Emily Hooker and I am the Technology Integration Coach for Richmond Public Schools.  I taught in the elementary classroom for Richmond Public Schools for ten years before moving into my current role as a technology integration specialist.  I love the challenge of weaving my knowledge of curriculum together with showing teachers and students the technology that I am passionate about. 

I am a wife, a mama, a reader, a runner, a teacher, a cook, a VCU Ram fan, a National Board Certified teacher and a curious life-long learner. My ultimate escape from life is being at the ocean with my family! 

I am passionate about creatively reaching our teachers and students and feel that technology can be a fantastic tool in which to do so.  Please let me know how I can be a resource for you!
