InLight Richmond is This Friday Night!

InLight 2017 is Friday! 

Join us THIS Friday, from 7 PM to midnight, when 1708 Gallery's InLight returns to West Broad. Thirty two artworks and community projects will illuminate spaces and places in and around the Arts District. The 10th annual exhibition of light-based art and performance is FREE and kicks off with the Community Lantern Parade. Need a lantern? Join us early at 6 PM to make your own!

HERE ARE THE IMPORTANT EVENT DETAILS!

LANTERN MAKING AND COMMUNITY LANTERN PARADE

Lantern making will begin at 6 PM in the Interactive Zone at Henry and Broad. The Community Lantern Parade will gather at 7:00 PM at Henry and Broad. Parade begins at 7:30 PM.

PARKING
Paid parking will be available at Virginia Commonwealth Parking Garages around the area including:

1111 West Broad Street
659 North 8th Street
200 West Cary Street

A free trolley service will ​run from the North 8th Street Lot to ​InLight at ​​Foushee and Broad. The trolley will run for the duration of the event.

​There are also plenty of city operated lots in the neighborhood.

​​FOOD & BEVERAGE
Check out InLight 2017's ​Food Court for food, beer and wine trucks. Or hit one of the great restaurants in the neighborhood​--​many are offering InLight specials!​ And ​FYI, all valet services are still operational, though some may move to accommodate street closures. Please check with restaurants to confirm locations of ​their ​valet.
